Chapter 2: No Need To Do

I am exactly where I need to be. Sometimes we must live in the moment, protect our peace and breath, and be isolated from everything. Checking in on others' well-being when one is already going through something is overwhelming, and we should not bear that; the longer one gives their peace to another to make them feel better, the stronger the emotions are hidden till it gets too dark and too deep for one to deal with everything on their own, and yes, most deal with that pain alone. Sometimes, you need less; it is a cautious act to ensure your stress does not add up. Is it weak to not ask for too much or work for it? Not necessarily, all should have ambitions for more in life, but sometimes we all need a break to stop and appreciate all we have and then continue moving forward; do you really appreciate what you have if you constantly stay focused with one thing in mind? We all need to take a look at every step we take and the results that come with it rather than only looking to achieve the big picture; the big picture does not assemble simply through one path; all the steps taken show a part of that image, and although seeing the full image is good, parts of the image have and show different storylines, so take a break, appreciate what you have accomplished so far, no need to do more; for now just breath.

There is nothing more I need to do. Yes, there will always be something, but I don't need to do anything regarding my life's path because I am already here. I take a deep breath, relax, and trust (and then do the rest). Be in the present moment; stop worrying about what's to come and what has already happened. Being in the present does not always equal a state of peace; one can be in the present moment in a state of anger, fear, loathing, and so many more; being in the moment does not always mean that you are happy, you are reacting to the now and that is all always different for everyone, you are living through it, your feelings arising or falling, the goal is that you do not let them ride you but rather that you give in to them slightly not fully making you who you are, your actions when those emotions are heightened expressed to others who you are, but truly one knows that those emotions are an act of blindness, it means you truly care about something and only have one goal when run along with them. You will always be in the present moment, writing your future in seconds; these are the moments to live for. However, still, there are times when instead of doing this, there is no need to do anything but take care of your well-being first. You are the fuel that runs your engine, so if you cannot move, build it up till you can, and it should all be alright. If you accept your surroundings and work around them, you should be able to move towards the path you wish; the emotional reactions you have can measure how your future will go, so be smart about how you act, think first and always take some time for yourself.

When do we feel happy about where we are in life? Does that happiness evaporate quickly, or is it something that stays with you till you move to a new form of happiness? You are here; there is no need to struggle and overthink or act right away; sometimes, we need a break. I believe that in every step we take if it makes us happy, we will always remember it, yet slowly they evaporate when there is a new form of happiness. When we go through something devastating or sad, we are more likely to hold it in our mind, probably due to the strong emotions we have associated them with because we cared and possibly lost something or did not achieve what we wanted, resulting in failure. Still, failure does not always mean failure; it means we try and push ourselves to do better; if you do not move forward, it is okay; take the time. Still, in all hopes, we should always think about moving ahead, ideally to places that our discomforting; it is good to try new things and really get to know ourselves through the reactions we have when we see what's out there, simply by being curious.
